Scouting Light is a nonprofit volunteer initiative within Beautydot that connects local service donations with women who need a little extra light in their life.
When life gets stressful, self-care is often the first priority to be set aside. Scouting Light offers services such as facials, massages, hair appointments, exercise classes, and other special treatments that help women feel more confident and at peace.
Led by Scout Wilcox, this program gathers stories and needs from the community and, each month, selects acts of service to offer, aiming to be a light to local women who need a little extra care in their life.
Each month, Scout curates donated service gifts from local service providers drawn from local donations and partnerships. The goal is to gather service donations from the community and connect them to local women by providing accessible, uplifting experiences.
Any business that provides a service. Think massages, facials, hair, nails, workout classes, and more. Donations can be made once a year, once a quarter, or once a month.
Interested providers can DM @beautydotspa on Instagram or email connect@beautydotspa.com with the subject line “Scouting Light.”
In August, suggestions will be gathered from our community. Referrals will be kept private via Instagram DM and email.
